2300 GMT today my feed got cut off! I think it was down for several minutes and I was in the middle of placing a SL. Good thing it's a demo account. I don't know how reliable FXCM is, but I've seen my feed got cut off at least twice in the last 2 months.

They are so professional...I love the status update site so I don't have to do live chat with Tech support. They have their issues, but what company doesnt...? FXCM UK's customer service is AWESOME.

Most of the connectivity problems I've had are due to my own connection, and I have a wired cable connection. Not that I have a lot of problems with connectivity but, when I do it's usually on my end. For instance today I was checking trades and the trade station froze. Something temporarily stopped my connection on my side through no fault of FXCM. It lasted a few minutes and then reconnected. Sending information over thousands of miles of electronics is bound to hit a speed bump every once in a while.

These guys are one of my last hopes in Forex and I am still contemplating a large deposit. I still believe they are 1 of only half dozen USA based brokers I can trust.

Hello, I dont mean to come off as rude or anything. But, I noticed that this is your opinion of FXCM today. Although, a year ago, your opinion was completely opposite.

I use FXCM's trade station, which freezes when connection is lost. MT4 opens if you have connection or not so, I can see where that would be more confusing. I also have browsers open, or I open one which is how I determine a problem with my connection vs. FXCM's side. I've only experienced what you're talking about here; I can still browse even though MT4 (FXCM) has disconnected.... on the Friday on Jan 22nd. I do plan on opening an MT4 account with FXCM in addition to using trade station to run some EAs on a VPS. I will keep an eye out for problems.
